Policies

These guidelines help us provide a smooth and professional experience for every client.

Payment & Booking

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. No deposit = no confirmed shoot.

  • Remaining balance is due immediately after the session.

  • Accepted payments: Invoice, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, AfterPay, credit card, or cash.

  • Quotes are fixed once approved. Scope changes may result in updated pricing.

Session Time & Punctuality

  • Your session starts at the scheduled time. Please arrive on time.

  • Late arrivals result in lost time.

  • No call/no show after 30 minutes = automatic cancellation. Deposit is forfeited.

  • Additional time requested beyond the scheduled shoot will incur extra fees.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours = Deposit is forfeited.

  • Deposits are always non-refundable.

  • If JM Pictures cancels, you will be refunded fully for any payments made.

Refunds & Satisfaction

  • All sales are final.

  • In rare cases (e.g., emergencies), a refund or reshoot may be offered at our discretion.

  • Dissatisfied with your photos? Communicate clearly. We’ll do our best to resolve it.

Turnaround Time

  • A proof gallery (lightly edited & watermarked) will be sent within 48 hours of the shoot.

  • Client must select their photos from the proof gallery to begin final editing.

  • Rush turnaround is available for an additional fee.

    • Expedited delivery will not be provided without payment of the rush fee.

    • Please schedule your shoot with your delivery timeline in mind. Example: For birthday photos, book at least 3–7 days before your event to ensure timely delivery.

  • Final turnaround time varies based on project size, with efficiency being a priority.

    • Smaller projects typically take 7 business days from the selection date, while larger projects typically require 14 business days.

Galleries & Editing

  • Clients will receive an online proof gallery within 48 hours post-shoot, featuring culled, lightly edited, watermarked previews of their photos.

    • These images are intended only for the selection of edits.

    • Only the selected photos will receive edits and retouches.

  • RAW files are not included. RAW files are available as an add-on.

  • Final edits only include the amount of photos included with your package. Additional edits are available as an add-on.

Studio rentals & Travel

  • Studio rental costs outside standard options must be paid upfront by the client.

  • Travel within Metro Atlanta is included within the service.

  • Travel outside the area: $0.62/mile.

  • Airfare and accommodations (if needed) must be covered by the client.

Guests & Group Policy

  • Guests are welcome, but only the booked client will be photographed unless a group session is purchased.

  • For group sessions or events, contact us to confirm correct package selection.

  • Please be mindful that the more people present, the more time may be lost to interruptions, posing adjustments, or off-camera interactions.

Creative Direction & Planning

  • Creative direction ( Ex. outfit styling & location scouting) isn’t included in standard packages.

  • If you’d like extra guidance, let us know — we offer Creative Direction as an add-on service.

Speciality Equipment & Props

  • For shoots that require specific props, setups, or equipment not already owned by JM Pictures, the client is responsible for covering the rental or purchase cost of those items.

    • These items are specifically acquired for your project and are not considered standard gear. As such, JM Pictures does not cover or split these costs.

    • Purchased items belong to the client.

Discounts

  • Discounts are rare and usually tied to promotions or returning client perks.

  • Please don’t request free or discounted services unless a promotion is active.
